So It has been a busy few weeks. Not very eventful, hence the reason as to why I have not posted in a few weeks. Mark was super busy with midterms but he came out alive and unscratched! He had a few study groups that he attended and was buried in his school work for those couple of weeks. On top of that Mark has been asked to train someone for the research project he and others are doing for a BYU professor. He doesn't think its a big deal but I am just so proud of him!
I on the other hand am still a trainee. I've been learning the basics of the machine set up's and am finally sticking people. I am hoping by the end of this coming week I will be on my own and working away without anyone looking over my shoulder. It is kinda a pain how long training takes at my job but at least when its all over I know i'll be confident in what I am doing.
Last night Mark and I attended our ward halloween party. It was so cute. We had bread bowl soup and the bread was shaped and colored like a pumpkin! We really enjoyed the company and got to know even more people in our ward. (Since we live in a college ward we are always getting new family's). Then after that we went over to Rachael and Ernie's apartment and carved pumpkins. Mark and I made a swirley Halloween tree on our pumpkin. It was lots of fun to get together with them.
Sunday was awesome today. Everyone gave awesome talks in church. In our marriage class we talked about communication. It was very interesting and I think everyone in the class walked away with something important. We talked about listening and letting the other finish their sentence instead of cutting them off and speaking our opinion right away. Also be careful in which tone you speak in. And last but not least not to take offense so quickly because a lot of the time someone might say something the wrong way and they never meant to be rude or unkind.
Well we hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween tomorrow!
