It's been a blessed week!

Well I'll just jump to the good news that you have probably heard! I am the newly hired phlebotomist at Telacris Plasma Resources here in Provo. It is 5 minutes down the street which is awesome. I'm terrrrrified about driving in the snow, so thank goodness I won't have to drive far. So pretty much my job entails that I will be hooking people up to plasma machines and make sure they are all safe while they are all donating their plasma!

Anyways... We had dinner with our friends Curtis and Anna on Thursday and had a good time like always with them. On Friday I went to lunch with my friend Rachael and then looked at this awesome home decor store at the local mall. I just love chatting and spending time with Rachael! On Saturday morning our Stake had a welcome breakfast for everyone and we had delicious banana chocolate chip pancakes and talked about smart investments with our table that morning (I promise it was much more interesting then it sounds).

Mark and I signed up for Netflix Online and have been a litttle addicted. We watched movies for most of our Saturday. But I promised we quickly repented and Mark is working hard at school and I've been doing other things at home! O, I also watched the RS broadcast with some friends and the talks where amazing!

P.S. Our comments are now open for anyone with or without a blog to comment on!

A Lovely Sunday

Well I havn't posted in a couple weeks now so im sure I have a bit to tell you! We finally got our computer fixed and running! Now we have a computer in the office and a computre hooked up to our tv! Its kinda neat, I came home the other day and Mark was watching a slide show for one of his college classes on the big screen. Last weekend we drove up to Logan, UT and visited our friends the Player's(yes that's their last name) and their wives. Matt had the idea of taking cardboard boxes, wrapping them in plastic and having us all float across the lake. Well the first boat failed because there was too much weight. The second one made it all the way across the small lake with two people in it!

So, Mark and I have started this marriage class at church. It is just so much fun! It is comprised of all the newlyweds in our ward and we are really starting to love it and the new friends we are making. On Wednesday I went to a Relief Society Ice Cream Social where I really got to know all the girls at our church. We all wore our favorite shoes and brought an item that describes us and then we told a little about each one of us.

Yesterday, Mark and I drove to Thanksgiving Point and we went to their huge garden. It was an awesome place to go but it was pouring rain. The upside was the fact that it was a warm rain, but we where soaking wet afterwards. They have a garden that's almost an exact replica of the movie The Secret Garden. They also have this waterfall that is just huge and you could walk across the top on a bridge. It was all together a nice place. Mark and I want to go to their other museum there called the museum of Ancient History. We where told it is one of the largest museums in the nation.

Today we went to church. I made brownies for our new marriage class. And tonight we are going to Mark's Aunt and Uncles home for an amazing dinner and looking forward to this coming week!

Just Life

Well it has been a slower week. Mark and I have been going to the University library in order to use the computer lab. Our computer decided to blow up on us and we are hoping our new computer parts come in within the next couple days. I have been applying to a variety of different companies in hope to get hired as a phlebotomist.

On Wednesday, Mark and I had a lovely dinner with his old research friend Curtis and his wife. Curtis a couple years back had done an internship in Italy. So we where graced with an authentic Italian meal made from scratch by himself and his wife. We played a game called Dominion with them. It's a card game and Mark loved it.

So on Friday I went to the auto shop. In Utah in order to register your car here you must get a safety test. Well we didn’t pass it. We had a burned out brake light and a bolt missing from a wheel. They are easy fixes but still kind of annoying that we have to get the car retested. But on a better not my Grandma Mellem came into town! We went to an Italian Grill and had delicious food! We had grilled salmon and grilled shrimp. And today (Sunday) we went to church at our new time which is 8am! It's early but we like that church is done with in the morning so we can take Sunday naps! Well tonight I am making some crock-pot BBQ chicken for Mark, Cooper, Grandma Mellem and I.
